British Literature | Digital Humanities

Welcome to my site! I am the Manager for Yale University’s Digital Humanities Lab, where I consult on digital humanities projects, lead workshops on data analysis and visualization, direct our DH Teaching Fellows program, and manage communications.

I received my PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I studied nineteenth-century British literature. My work brings together media studies, information history, and history of the book to think about old and new media in the Victorian period, as well as challenges faced today with mass digitization.

Here’s more on my research, teaching, administration/service, and collaborations.
