Catherine DeRose’s Website

Welcome to my site! I am the Manager for Yale University’s Digital Humanities Lab, where I consult on digital humanities projects, lead workshops on data analysis and visualization, direct our DH Teaching Fellows program, and manage communications.

I received my PhD in English from UW-Madison, where I studied nineteenth-century British literature. My work brings together media studies, information history, and history of the book to think about the Victorian print explosion and mass digitization today.

Here’s more on my research, teaching, administration/service, and collaborations.
